Prof. Yang Yue 🏛︎︎Xi'an Jiaotong University, China Prof Bio: Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >9,000 citations, five edited books, two book chapters, >50 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 2 tutorial, >30 plenary and >40 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of IEEE, Optica and SPIE. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, Editor Board Member for three other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. Prof. Bo Dong 🏛︎︎Shenzhen Technology University, China Prof Bio: To be determinedDong Bo, male, is a Distinguished Professor at the School of Integrated Circuits and Optoelectronic Chips, Shenzhen University of Technology. He was selected for the Shenzhen “Peacock Plan B” for High-Level Overseas Returnees and was previously selected as a “Technical Talent” under the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ “First Action 100 Talents Program.” He was named to the list of the world’s top 2% of scientists jointly released by Stanford University and Elsevier. He serves as an expert evaluator for the National Science and Technology Awards and national key projects. He has led and participated in numerous collaborative projects funded by Canada’s NRSERC, Singapore’s NRF, China’s 863 Program, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as projects with companies such as Airbus (Europe), ST (Singapore), and SMRT (Singapore). He has achieved a series of innovative results in the fields of photonic integrated devices, SAW/BAW chips, and optoelectronic detection, publishing more than 140 academic papers, filing over 30 patent applications, and obtaining more than 10 patents. The results of his projects were recognized with the 2013 ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award and the Singapore Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award. He serves as a topic editor for *Applied Optics*, a renowned optoelectronics journal published by the Optical Society of America (OSA), and as a member of the editorial board for *Structural Monitoring and Maintenance*, a journal published by KAIST in South Korea.
